QMES held Undergraduate Teacher Mobilization Meeting for Teaching Audit Assessment Work
Queen Mary University of London Engineering School, NPU held undergraduate teacher mobilization meeting for teaching audit assessment work on March 22nd, 2018. Andy Bushby, Matthew Potter, Gabriel Cavalli, Faith Nightingale, Alan Allman, Agne Kocnevaite and Chinese teachers Xiao Manyu, Cui Xiaomin, Yuan Zhanbin, Hou Jianping attended the meeting. Vice Dean Fan Xiaoli host the meeting.
Kong Jie,the dean of QMES emphasized the importance of the audit assessment this time. He hoped that teachers should keep positive attitude towards the assessment. They should not only have clear position of disciplines, fully understanding teaching programs, fully implement the students-oriented school requirements, but also earnestly study and understand the positioning, training objectives of both QMES and NPU, and the educational system of cultivating students.
Fan Xiaoli gave detailed information about the content, form and precautions this time. She believed that this is more like the improvement towards educational works as well as the assessment. Teachers and staff should find out problems, solve problems and improve problems actively. It is QMES and teachers’ responsibility to taking high standards and high quality requirements. Cultivating multi-disciplinary and top-notch innovative talents who have a global perspective, good knowledge about international rules, solid foundations, strong professional competitiveness, high overall qualityare capable of transnational learning, work, and life-long learning ability.
Yang Ye, deputy director of Teaching Office and Qi Yue, Education Manager, introduced the school, content of assessment to both Chinese teachers and British teachers. They hoped that teachers in both sides have basic knowledge towards QMES, talent training goals and initiatives, training models, and information about 2017 enrollment.
This mobilization meeting had played an important role in promoting assessment work in QMES.
