Professor Yonghan Roh of Sungkyunkwan University Visited QMES

On July 29, 2019, Professor Yonghan Roh, Professor Yong - Sang Kim and Professor Byeungwoo Jeon of Sungkyunkwan University visited QMES. Professor Fan Xiaoli, Vice Dean of QMES met the guests in Meeting Room 413. Professor Zhou Shigang, Assistant Dean ofSchool of Electronics and Information Technology and relevant teachers of QMESjoined the discussion.

Entrusted by DeanKongJie, Professor FanXiaoliexpressed her warmwelcome on behalf of all the teachers and students ofQMES.Sheintroduced the establishment background, operation mode, student work and development prospect ofQMESin detail. ProfessorFan said thatSungkyunkwanUniversitywasone of thebestcomprehensive universities in South Koreawith a long history and strong scientific research strength.QMEShopedto strengthen interaction and connection withSungkyunkwanUniversity in research, teaching and talent training and carry out more in-depth cooperation.

Professor Yonghan Roh briefly introduced the subject advantages and historical background ofSungkyunkwanUniversityand then had an in-depth discussion ontherecruitment, teacher selection,studentcultivationand other aspectsof QMES.ProfessorYong - Sang Kim saidQMESwasone of the successful models ofChinese-foreign cooperation in running schoolswhileSungkyunkwanUniversity hadalong historyand a perfect discipline system. Itwould behelpful forSungkyunkwanUniversity to work withQMESin expanding cooperation channelsand exploring new modes of higher education internationalization.
