Keeping Exercising and Enhance Immunity

Since the start of the fight against the COVID-19, Chinese people have actively responded to the call of the country, self-consciously quarantining at home and minimizing outings. They have made efficient efforts for epidemic prevention which demonstrated the quality and responsibilities of the citizens.

However, staying at home for a long time and lack of physical exercise may cause psychological anxiety and affect physical and mental health. During the online study, students of QMES keep strengthening physical exercise at home.

Students shared their exercise experience with each other. They all believe that persist in the appropriate amount of physical exercise every day would improve their own health and enhance the body's immunity. Several students have recommended their own exercise methods, believing that the combination of aerobic and anaerobic is the most reasonable exercise way. Aerobic exercise can be jogging, skipping and anaerobic can be used for plate support, weight training and so on. At the same time, they have also given some suggestions: warming up is needed before exercise; don’t drink cold water after exercise; do some stretches after training, etc.

After the sharing, students have benefited a lot. They all agreed that they should continue physical exercising at home to enhance their fitness and engage themselves in online study with a healthier body and mind.
