The Expert Delegation of the Ministry of Education Visited QMES to Assess and Guide the On-site Assessment of Sino-Foreign Joint Education

On June 6th, the expert delegation of the Ministry of Education came to our school to evaluate the practice of Sino-Foreign cooperation in running schools.

Before the assessment meeting, Zhang Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of NPU, met with the guests at the Nanshanyuan International Academic Exchange Center and had a cordial conversation. He expressed his warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the experts.

At the evaluation meeting, Vice President Zhang Weihong firstly introduced the guests and representatives who attended the meeting, and made a brief analysis of the status and goals of Sino-Foreign joint education, pointing out that Sino-Foreign joint education was of great significance in improving university’s international education level. Vice President Wan Xiaopeng warmly welcomed the arrival of the experts. He also pointed out that QMES would take this assessment as an opportunity to sort out relevant concepts and ideas of Sino-Foreign joint education and further explore new opportunities and challenges. Tang Zhenfu presided over the on-site assessment meeting and briefly explained the on-site evaluation rules, indicator system and procedures. Later, Kong Jie, Dean of QMES, gave a detailed report on the development and operation of the school.

After the on-site assessment meeting, the expert group carried out a field trip to QMES and held in-depth discussions with Chinese and English teachers and the students.Finally, the expert group held a closed-door meeting to summarize the on-site assessment work.

Through the on-site assessment, the expert delegation provided valuable guidance for the development of Sino-Foreign joint education in our university. We would make efforts to cultivate high-quality and innovative talents and further promote the quality of teaching.
