Innovation in Engineering Education in a Transnational Context Symposium Was Held in NPU

From April 2nd to 4th, the Innovation in Engineering Education in a Transnational Context Symposium that was jointly hosted by NPU and QMUL was held in Xi 'an. More than 20 internationally renowned scholars and guests from home and abroad have conducted academic discussions and exchanged opinions on the innovation of international engineering education and teaching.

Kong jie, Dean of QMES, presided over the opening ceremony. Vice President Zhang Weihong delivered a welcome speech, and on behalf of NPU, extended the warmest welcome to all of the guests, experts and scholars at the conference. He pointed out that NPU has carried out a large-scale discussion on talents training in this year. One of the most important goals of this discussion was to promote the construction of new engineering. Vice-Principal Colin Grant of QMUL joined the meeting and hoped that this conference would contribute to innovate engineering education and teaching.

During the conference, experts from Seoul National University, Queen Mary University of London, SWJTU-Leeds Joint School, Glasgow College, UESTC as well as NPU shared their experiences and views on innovative development of international engineering education and teaching. They provided a new path for cross-cultural language learning, innovative engineering education and international cooperation.
