Cao Xiuming, Deputy Mayor of Su Qian, Jiang Su Province Visited JEI
On October 26th,Deputy Mayor Cao Xiuming of Su Qian, Jiang Su Province, Sun Denghuai, Director of Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, Wu Peilong, President of Jinghong New Material Company visited JEI. Dean Kong Jie, Vice Dean Fan Xiaoli and relevant staff joined the meeting which was hosted by Kong Jie.
Kong Jie expressed warm welcometo the guests and made a detailed report on JEI construction, management mode, cultivation mode and working condition. After that, Fan Xiaoli reported on discipline setting and teaching affairs, etc.
Cao Xiuming pointed out that JEI was the first Sino-Foreign cooperative education institution with non-independent legal person in Northwest China. As a representative national cooperative education institution, JEI did active explorations in student recruitment, foreign cooperation and undergraduate training. Su qian, as one of the Eastern city in China, had a strong need on international talents in material science and polymers. The government had a lot of beneficial policy in talent import and hoped JEI students could work in Su Qian after graduation so as to make good use of their abilities and contribute to the development of Su Qian.
After the meeting, they paid a visit to JEI working area and students' activity area.
