NPU Vice President Wan Xiaopeng Delivered A Party Lecture in QMES

On 21 December, member of NPU Standing Committee of the Communist Party, Vice President, JAC Chair of QMES, Prof. Wan Xiaopeng came to QMES to deliver a vivid Party lecture on principles of 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with the theme of "unswervingly following the Party and realizing the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation". QMES leaders, staff and student representatives listened to the lecture.

Based on the historic choice made by Chinese people under the leadership of CCP, combined with personal experiences, Vice President Wan Xiaopeng showed the tough efforts made by CCP in order to achieve China’s prosperity and lead Chinese people to a better life after the reform and opening-up, especially the contributions that CCP has made after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party. The achievements and progress remind everybody to keep history in mind and cherish the present happiness of life. Vice president Wan xiaopeng specifically interpreted the concrete meaning of "from standing up, getting rich to getting strong" and pointed out that under the strong leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, Chinese people can stand on their own and now are getting rich and stronger. The final aim is to gradually realize Chinese Dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Besides, as required by education programmes of Sino-foreign cooperative education, Vice President Wan Xiaopeng hoped that QMES students could keep traditional Chinese culture and history in mind to act well at an international stage and to spread Chinese culture with what they have learnt in QMES.
