From September 28thto 30th, 2019, the Seventh Meeting of Association of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools --- The Chinese-Foreign Cooperation Policy and Practice Symposium in Northwestern China was held in Northwestern Polytechnical University. A total of 314 representatives from 92 Sino-Foreign joint educational institutions and projects and 35 universities from mainland China attended the conference.
With the theme of “cultivating talents in the Chinese-foreign cooperative education in the New Era”, the conference discussed innovative measures for creating opening-up opportunities in educational field and international personnel training in the New Era.
Wan Xiaopeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of NPU, presided over the opening ceremony. On behalf of the school, Huang Wei, Member of the Party Standing Committee and Deputy President of NPU, delivered a welcome speech and expressed sincere welcome to the leaders and representatives who attended the meeting.
On the morning of the 30th, the conference set up four parallel forums and all have achieved fruitful results. Speakers of each sub-forum made speeches and had in-depth exchanges and discussions with each other.
This conference is a high-end exchange platform for the development of Sino-Foreign joint education. During the conference, the QMES student-volunteers showed their spirit and enthusiasm. Their good service was widely praised by the delegates.
