The Glasgow College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China Visited QMES

On December 13, 2019, teachers from the Language Support Center of Glasgow College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China visited QMES. Fan Xiaoli, Vice Dean of QMES met with the guests in Meeting Room 413. Four foreign teachers of QMES, Faith Nightingale、Agne Kocnevaite、Alan Allman、Luqman Ahmed and Education Manager Qi Yue attended the meeting.

On behalf of Dean Kong Jie, Vice Dean Fan Xiaoli extended a warm welcome to the teachers. The English teachers of QMES introduced current English curriculum structure and teaching methods of QMES to the guests. The English teachers of QMES understood the language needs of students by observing professional theoretical and experimental classes. They formed a professional academic English language course system.

The two sides exchanged views on teacher structure, student performance, IELTS / TOEFL learning, teacher professional development as well as International Center of Teaching Learning (ICTL). They also conducted an in-depth discussion on helping teachers to obtain international teaching qualifications.
