QMES Held A Themed Class Meeting on "Safety Education of Epidemic Prevention and Control "

In order to maintain the smooth running of the new semester and convey the relevant issues on student safety education of NPU during the epidemic, students of Class 2018 of QMES held a themed class meeting on "Safety Education of Epidemic Prevention and Control” at 8 pm, April 27 through Tencent Meeting. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Dean Cheng Yin. Counsellor Wang Bing, part-time counsellor Li Zhijun and Xu Ruirui attended the meeting.

First of all, Cheng Yin notified the safety instructions of students during the epidemic, reminding everyone to maintain a healthy lifestyle and improve immunity. She also stressed that students should stay indoors, avoid big gatherings, and wear masks once go out. Secondly, students should use electricity, gas and water safely and do not touch flammable or explosive materials. Thirdly, students should pay attention to traffic safety. When driving vehicles, they must abide by the traffic laws and regulations. Fourthly, when receiving text messages and phone calls concerning money and privacy, students need to verify the truth and do not trust strangers easily. In addition, students are required to comply with the epidemic prevention and control regulations of their local governments and report their real status. At the same time, they should learn the official documents concerning the epidemic prevention and control. Moreover, Cheng Yin introduced the relevant requirements of NPU during epidemic prevention and control, remind students of the daily health information report and make sure their mobile phones can be connected during the epidemic prevention and control.

Afterwards, Counsellor Wang Bing emphasized the safety education of May Day Holiday, introduced the curriculum adjustment arrangements and reminded students to pay attention to safety at home. She also reminded students to focus on their study during the holiday, especially those who need to attend the makeup exams in the new semester.
