QMES Held a Work Meeting for the New Semester
On March 5th, 2021, QMES held a work meeting for the new semester in spring of 2020-2021 academic year in the 413 Conference Room of East Teaching Building A in Chang’an Campus, which was presided over by Dean Kong Jie.
Kong Jie first conveyed the spirit of Cadre Conference for the New Semester in 2021 and the spirit of Work Conference on Comprehensively Strengthening Party Self-Governance of NPU.According to the overall deployment and requirement of NPU, QMES will implement the spirit of the Sixth Work Conference on Science and Technology as well as the spirit of the Summary Conference on Discussion of Talent Training of NPU, and will adhere to the fundamental task ofstrengthening morality and cultivating people, taking students as the root and education as the foundation.In the first year of the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan, QMES should take the initiative to promote the high-quality development of its work with fuller enthusiasm and more positive spirit.
This meeting has made key arrangement and deployment for Party construction work, teaching work, student work, enrollment work, dual-degree postgraduate work, safety work and other kinds of work in this semester.In the new semester, QMES will further build consensus, give full play to the leading role of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, and pay attention to “Four Focuses”, namely, focusing on strengthening morality and cultivating people, focusing on educational and teaching reform, focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of management, and focusing on high-quality development of students, so as to do a good job in the cultivation of international talents.
