QMES Held a Special Training Meeting on the Overall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Evaluation in the New Era

According to the requirements of NPU for in-depth organization of the special training on theOverall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Evaluation in the New Eraand the unified deployment of the Party Committee ofSchool of Materials Science and Engineering, the Party branch of QMES held a meeting of all Party members in Meeting Room 413 to study theOverall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Evaluation in the New Era(hereinafter referred to as the “Overall Plan”) on the morning of March 24, which was presided over by Kong Jie, Secretary of the Party branch. All members of the Party branch attended this meeting, and student party members participated in this meeting online through the platform of Tencent Meeting.

First of all, Secretary Kong Jie conveyed the contents and requirements of theOverall Planof NPU. Subsequently, Deputy Secretary Cheng Yin ledeveryone to study the reference outline of the propaganda of theOverall Plan, explained the introduction background, basic positioning and general requirements of this plan, and made them deeply understand the three key issues of “why to change”, “what to change” and “how to change”.Next, Secretary Kong Jie led everyone to deeply interpret the PPT of special training for learning and implementing theOverall Planof the State Council of the CPC Central Committee, further understand the general ideas, main principles, reform objectives and key tasks of theOverall Plan, and study the main objectives and tasks of theOverall Planof NPU. Meanwhile, he pointed out that QMES should implement discussion, training, publicity and other work deployments proposed by NPU in theOverall Planbased on its actual situation, so as to ensure that the reform plan for educational evaluation of NPU could be effective.

After the meeting, the participants expressed that in their future work, they would discuss and study based on their actual work responsibilities. What’s more, they will further study and understand the core essence of educational evaluation, strengthen the sense of responsibility, mission and urgency for deepening the reform of educational evaluation in the new era, deeply grasp the political direction of education, and fulfill the responsibility of fostering virtue and cultivating people.
