The Party Branch of QMES Held the 2020 Annual Organizational Life Meeting and Democratic Evaluation Meeting of Party Members

According to the requirement of "Notice on Holding 2020 Annual Organizational Life Meeting and Democratic Evaluation of Party Members" of the NPU Party Committee, QMES held the 2020 Annual Organizational Life Meeting and Democratic Evaluation Meeting of Party Members of the college at 6:30 pm on March 8, 2021 in 410 Lecture Hall. Wang Hongqiang, the vice President of the Party Committee of the School of Materials, attended and supervised the meeting, in which all the Party members participated, including faculties, students and potential Party members of QMES. This meeting was hosted by Cheng Yin, the vice secretary of the Party branch.

First of all, Kong Jie, the secretary of the Party branch of QMES, gave a report on behalf of the Party Branch Committee, comprehensively summarizing the work of the Party Branch of the College in 2020, respectively analyzing the problems of the Party branch and individuals, and putting forward corresponding advice on improvement and rectification measures. He points out that in the next step, the College should further focus on the leading role of Party construction, especially on playing a good role in moral education and talents cultivation. Then, basing on their job requirements and the reality of their study, all the Party members attending the meeting analyzed their problems and shortcomings in ideology and politics, work style and attitude towards study through self-criticism and mutual evaluation, put forward corrective measures, and filled out "The Democratic Evaluation Form of Party Members".

The Vice President of the Party Committee of the School of Materials Wang Hongqiang deemed that the organizational life meeting and the democratic evaluation of Party members meeting were carried out in strict accordance with the relevant requirements of the university, and these meetings achieved certain results. It is suggested that the Party branch can further innovate the form of work, continue to strengthen the implementation of the requirements of strict governance over the Party, and play the role of the Party branch in promoting the internationalization of the college. He continued saying that “2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and we hope that the Party branch of the College will cooperate with the Party Committee of the School of Materials, insuring the implementation of relevant study, publicity and practical work”.

Cheng Yin, the deputy secretary of the Party branch, made a concluding speech. She expressed that QMES would further innovate and optimize the mode of organizational life meeting in accordance with the requirements of relevant units, carrying out in-depth criticism and self-criticism of Party members, clarifying rectification matters, and actively implementing improvement measures, by which the effectiveness of this organizational life meeting could be transformed into real results in practical work. Meanwhile, QMES would actively cooperate with the Party Committee of the School of Materials to in the learning of "Four Histories” and the work of the sixth round of inspection.
