QMES Held the Thirteenth Academic Committee Meeting

At 16:30 on June 6, 2022, the Thirteenth Academic Committee Meeting was held online by QMES. Members of the committee, including Fan Xiaoli, Andy Bushby, Shi Xuetao, Gao Pengfei, Gabriel Cavalli as well as other teachers and staff from NPU side and QMUL side attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Fan Xiaoli. First of all, the meeting reviewed the contents of the Twelfth Academic Committee Meeting and reached an agreement on the minutes of the last meeting. Shi Xuetao then reported the situation of the final year project, the academic performance of 2019 and 2021 cohort students, 2022 internship and production practice for undergraduates, and the progress of the dual master programme.Andy Bushby extended congratulations for the results 2017 cohort students have obtained in the external audit and sampling inspection in final year project of NPU and affirmed the quality of graduation project of QMES. Fan Xiaoli expressed gratitude to Liz Tanner, Qi Yue and all the graduation project supervisors of QMUL for their efforts in the organization and review process all the way through. Andy Bushby emphasized the importance of the final year project and affirmed the improvement of final year project of QMES this year.He said that QMUL will work together with QMES to continuously optimize the process of undergraduate final year project and make the graduation project of QMES better. Finally, the participants determined the time of the next academic committee meeting.
