QMES Held the First Labour Union Election

  On September 30, 2022, the first election of QMES Labour Union was successfully held in the Lecture Hall 410, East Teaching Building A, Chang’an Campus. Fan Xiaoli, Dean of QMES, Dai Fuping, Secretary of QMES Party Committee and Vice Dean of QMES, Cheng Yin, Deputy Secretary of QMES Party Committee and Vice Dean of QMES and all the faculty members attended the election, which was presided over by Dai Fuping.

  The election was started with the solemn national anthem. According to the meeting agenda, first of all, Fan Xiaoli read out the Election Plan of QMES Labour Union (Preparation), the list of candidates of QMES Labour Union and the official reply to instructions on the election, and briefly introduced the four candidates. Afterwards, Cheng Yin illustrated the election method of QMES Labour Union, and Dai Fuping announced the list of supervisors and personnel responsible for vote counting, all of whom were nominated by the preparatory working group of the election. The participants voted by a show of hands and finally reached an agreement.

  The election process was presided over by the chief supervisor Yang Yufei. By secret ballot, three members of the first Labour Union Committee of QMES were elected after strict procedures, including voting, counting and monitoring. The whole election process was smooth, fair and transparent.

  Wu Ajing was elected as the chairman of the QMES Labour Union; Zhao Chunyi was elected as the commissary in charge of propaganda and female labour; and Bi Jialong was elected as the commissary in charge of organization and welfare. All the participants agreed on the election results and applauded the new members.

Dai Fuping extended congratulations to these new members, and put forward the hope that, from now on, the labour union should safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the faculty and staff, protect their welfare, enrich their spare time, and give full play to the constructive role of Labour Union, so as to further strengthen the team construction and service assurance. The first election of QMES Labour Union Committee brought a successful close!
