QMES Held the “World Coffee” Seminar

On December 26th, QMES held the "World Coffee" Seminar in Room A 406 of the school. More than 30 freshmen and sophomores from QMES, School of Natural and Applied Sciences and School of Materials Science and Engineering were invited to attend the seminar. Dean Kong Jie of QMES, Vice Deans Fan Xiaoli and Chen Jun and Counsellor Ke Wei of School of Natural and Applied Sciences attended this seminar as guests.

During the seminar, students from different schools and backgrounds actively communicated and shared relevant content of the topics. In the process of participation, they deepened their understanding and thinking, realized the advantages and disadvantages of their learning modes and methods from comparison, and got inspirations from presentations and reports of other groups.

This seminar is the first attempt of QMES to build a new and effective platform for learning and discussion so that students of different schools and grades can communicate and learn from each other. Next, QMES will continue to organize "World Coffee" activities with different themes and help to create a harmonious learning atmosphere.
