Undergraduate Students of NPU Won the First Prize of the “Guangwei Cup” Technology Innovation Competition in 2019

On November 29^th, the 4^th"Guangwei Cup"Technology Innovation Competition hosted by Chinese Society for Composite Materials was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. A team composed of four undergraduates from QMES and one from the School of Natural and Applied Sciences finally won the only national First Prize in the independent proposition group. The project of this team was guided jointly by Prof. Gu Junwei and Prof. Kong Jie.

As one of the thematic activities of the 4^thChina International Congress on Composite Materials (CCCM-4), the competition has attracted 205 teams from more than 50 colleges and universities in the seven national competition regions. Twelve teams were selected to enter the finals of the enterprise proposition group and 12 teams entered the finals of the independent proposition group.
