II. Introduction to Hu Zongfeng

Hu Zongfeng: Member of the Central Cultural Committee of China Democratic National Construction Association, Standing Director of Translators Association of China, President of Shaanxi Translators Association, Member of the 12th Xi’an CPPCC, Vice President of Shaanxi Foreign Literature Society, and Director of Edgar and Helen Snow Studies Center of Shaanxi, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Foreign Languages, Northwest University, and Director of the Institute of Western Culture and Translation, Northwest University.

He has altogether 20 representative works translated from English to Chinese, 10 English Chinese bilingual works, more than 20 papers published in core journals of China, and more than 260 translated and created novels, essays and poems published in newspapers and periodicals.
