Executive Dean Xiong Zhongming of Ander College of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology Visited QMES

On the morning of October 29, Xiong Zhongming, Executive Dean of Ander College of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Liu Yanzheng, Party Branch Secretary and Vice Dean of Ander College, Zhao Lei, Vice Dean of Ander College and another 5 teachers came to QMES to conduct research on Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.QMESleaders and relevant staff attended the meeting, which was presided over by Dean Kong Jie.

Kong Jie first extended a warm welcome to Xiong Zhongming and his delegation. He pointed out that Ander College and QMES were geographically close to each other. Both of the two schools are Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools, and could have more exchanges in the aspects of teaching management, student work, and etc. Xiong Zhongming briefly introduced recent work of Ander College. Then the two sides had an in-depth discussion on issues such as framework building, teacher introduction, teaching reward mechanism, international development of students and undergraduate tutorial system.

Xiong Zhongming said that there were many similarities between Ander college and QMES. QMES has carried out in-depth explorations in the aspects of enrollment, teaching operation, teacher introduction and student management. Its unique school-running characteristics gradually show strong influence in Shaanxi province and even the whole northwest region, which has reference significance for Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology to conduct Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. It is necessary for both sides to carry out regular exchanges and learning.

After the meeting, accompanied by the relevant staff QMES, Xiong Zhongming and his delegation visited the office area and teaching area of QMES, including one-stop office platform, innovation laboratory, student home, Internet smart classroom, etc.
