NPU Joint International Innovative Talents Education Programme of Advanced Materials and Structures was Approved by CSC

As required by CSCImplementation Plan of 2018 International Innovative Talents Joint Education Programme, through expert review and on-site reply, under the leadership of Prof. Kong Jie, Joint International Innovative Talents Education Programme of Advanced Materials and Structures (here in after as the Programme) was approved as a new funding programme together with other 29 domestic programmes in 2018.

Under the strong support and guidance of Office of International Cooperation, based on AMAS and the advanced British talent cultivation system, the Programme promotes the process of cultivating innovative talents through a Sino-British joint educational mode. Cooperating with NPU in Joint PhD and Postdoctoral programmes, QMUL will provide advanced science and technology, high-level research platform, transnational teaching environment in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemistry disciplines.

The Programme dedicated in servicing "Belt & Road" Initiative, promoting research and application of Sino-British advanced materials and structures, further strengthening education and teaching reform and development of NPU, improving the internationalization of scientific research in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry disciplines, cultivating top and scarce talents for the construction of NPU "Double First-Class".

The Programme selection was divided into two batches. The first batch will be carried out from April 20 to 25, 2018 and will be launched before the end of this year. The second batch will be carried out from November 20 to 25, 2018 and will be launched by the end of May 2019.
