QMES Held the Meeting of 2022 Work Report and Assessment for Party Branch Secretaries

On March 8, in accordance with NPU’s “Notice on Conducting the 2022 Work Report and Assessment Meeting for Party Branch Secretaries”, QMES held the annual meeting presided over by Dai Fuping, Secretary of the QMES Party Committee, so as to give full play to the exemplary and leading role of Party branches and Party secretaries, further improve the quality of grassroots Party building, and extend the comprehensive and strict Party governance to the grassroots level. The participants of the meeting included members of the QMES Party Committee, secretaries of the Party branches with the integration of teachers and students, and representatives of teacher Party members, student Party members and the masses.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dai Fuping introduced the content, methods and procedures of the meeting. Then, four secretaries of the Party branches with the integration of teachers and students carried out on-site reporting in turn, in which they objectively and accurately reviewed the achievements and problems of the Party branches in the past year, and comprehensively summarized the development of the Party branches in 2022. The Party Committee leadership made comments and suggestions on their work, and the delegates at the meeting filled in the assessment forms to objectively evaluate their work.

Finally, Dai Fuping made remarks on the secretaries’ reports on Party construction. He affirmed the hard work of the secretaries and put forward his expectations. First, the Party branch secretaries should clarify their responsibilities, effectively fulfil the role of “the very first person responsible for primary-level Party building”, further improve the political accomplishment, strengthen the mass base and enhance the abilities to mobilize and solve problems. Second, they should give full play to the political and organizational functions of the Party branches, and contribute to the construction of a model Party branch and a model school. Third, apart from handling the regular work, they should strive to deliver a bright and distinctive performance in the grassroots Party building based on the advantages of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools. It is hoped that the secretaries can learn from each other, accumulate experience and jointly upgrade the Party building work of the school.
