Prof. Wang Yongxin, Ph.D. in Engineering, doctoral supervisor, is the vice dean of QMES. He is in charge of the national first-class professional construction site and the national first-class curriculum, an engineering education certification expert, a member of the Shaanxi Provincial Teaching Steering Committee, the leader of the Shaanxi Provincial Teaching Team, a famous teaching teacher in the “Special Support Plan” of Shaanxi Province, and the most satisfied teacher at NPU. He has presided over five national and provincial-level education reform and construction projects and edited one planning textbook for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. He has presided over more than ten projects such as propellant development, National Natural Science Foundation, Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, large aircraft material research, large-scale transportation material research, and aviation support. As a key member, he has participated in national key research and development programs, the National Natural Science Foundation, and model material research projects at both national and provincial levels. He has published over a hundred papers. He has won one first and second prize for national-level teaching achievements, two special prizes for teaching achievements in Shaanxi Province, and one first and second prize for scientific and technological achievements in Shaanxi Province and has also received the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Special Award.
