In order to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and to carry forward the spirit of patriotism, from November 17^thto 18^th, under the guidance of Undergraduate Students Affairs Department of the NPU Committee of the CPC, QMES and Honors College went to Yan'an to jointly carry out the "Learning spirit of patriotism and building a new career" On-site teaching activities. More than 90 student representatives and teacher representatives from Honors College and QMES participated in the activity.

The on-the-spot teaching of Yan'an trip is an important measure for both schools to implement fundamental tasks of strengthening moral education and cultivating students. During the trip, participants had a deeper understanding of theoretical essence and value of Yan'an spirit. Students participated said that they would consciously draw strength from the spirit of Yan'an, learn lessons from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s spirit pursuit in Liang Jiahe's life so as to further strengthen their ideals and convictions. “Never forget the original ideals and aspirations, remember the mission” drives the students to work hard in studying and conducting scientific research. In the long march of the new era, we should strive to grow into socialist builders and successors of all-round development of morality, intelligence, art, and continuously contribute to the power of NPU in the journey of realizing the Chinese nation's great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream.
