On the afternoon of April 27, 2020, QMES held an administration meeting in Conference Room 413, East Teaching Building A, Chang’an Campus.All staff of the School attended the meeting. Dean Kong Jie presided over the meeting.

Kong Jie first conveyed the spirit of this term’s Cadre Conference and the Work Conference on Governance of the Party, and led all staff to sort out the work of QMES during the anti-epidemic period.He said that, all functional departments of the School could stick to their missions, complete various tasks timely with high standards, and got achievements to some extent in online teaching and education. All of these work have laid a solid foundation for students to return to university and for combining online and offline teaching.

The meeting discussed key jobs of this semester and the future development direction of QMES. QMES staff reported on the key layout of students, psychological counseling, research on future development intention, etc., and discussed online teaching, professional certification, arrangement of experimental courses, etc.It was suggested that all of the staff should focus on ideological and political work, innovation and entrepreneurship, and international development guidance at this stage.

In the new international and domestic circumstance, the development of QMES is facing challenges and opportunities at the same time.All staff members of QMES should adhere to Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focus on the training of international and innovative talents, overcome difficulties and seize opportunities, and continue to further carry out the work from all aspects.
