On August 29, 2021, QMES held a teaching affairs meeting for the autumn semester of the 2021-2022 academic year in XA407, West Teaching building of Youyi Campus, which was presided over by Fan Xiaoli, Vice Dean in charge of teaching affairs of QMES. Relevant lecturers in autumn semester, Director of Teaching Affairs Office Yang Ye, and staff members Liu Kejia, Ding Jing, and Jing Tingting attended this meeting.
First of all, Fan Xiaoli introduced NPU’s mixed online and offline teaching arrangements in the new semester, mainly emphasizing the curriculum requirements for students in medium and high-risk areas who cannot return to school in time or who need to be quarantined due to the epidemic after returning to school. On the one hand, theoretical modules shall be mainly taught face-to-face, and students affected by the epidemic could be taught through online teaching according to their actual situation. On the other hand, experimental and practical modules can be carried out by means of online live-teaching, remote virtual simulation experiments, or to give make-up lessons after students return to school according to their actual situation. The lecturers need to set up online groups for all online modules according to the requirements, upload teaching materials on the on-campus module platform in advance, select the main and alternative online teaching platforms, and accept the instructional supervision of the school as required. In addition, the meeting also introduced the teaching construction projects established by QMES and the recent work arrangements of NPU and the Teaching Affairs Department.
Under the current situation of repeated epidemic, QMES will make a plan for the adjustment of curriculum and teaching in advance to ensure the high teaching quality. At the same time, it will continue to deepen the construction of undergraduate teaching and the reform of teaching mode, so as to continuously improve the quality of talent training.
