    Xiaoli Fan is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor who serves as a member of the 12th Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. She earned her Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She holds several key academic roles, including Deputy Secretary-General of the Computational Materials Division of the Chinese Materials Research Society, member of both the General Principles Committee and Computational Technology Committee in the Materials Genome Engineering Field of the China Materials and Testing Standards Platform, and serves as an evaluation expert for Sino-foreign cooperative education programs under the Ministry of Education. As the primary contributor, she has been honored with awards such as the First Prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, the Second Prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award, and the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award. She is recognized as a Leading Talent in Shaanxi Province, a leader of an innovation team, and a recipient of the Outstanding Youth Fund, in addition to being selected as a New Century Excellent Talent by the Ministry of Education. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in the UK. She has led multiple major research initiatives, including projects under the National Key R&D Program, specialized fundamental research under the "Two Engines" Initiative, key tasks of the Key New Materials R&D and Application Major Special Project, and grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, in addition to directing key teaching reform projects in Shaanxi Province. Her research has resulted in the publication of over 150 SCI papers.
