On November 20th, QMES organized a theme sharing session on “Promoting the spirit of patriotism and Building a New Era ofMeritorious Service” Yan’an on-site teaching activities. Chen Jun, Deputy Dean of QMES, Chen Chen, Director of Student Affairs Office, and more than ten student representatives conducted in-depth exchanges on Yan’an's on-site teaching activities in QMES conference room.
Chen Jun gave a brief summary for the success of this teaching activity. He said that we would use this on-the-spot teaching activities as a start point to continuously accumulate experience, integrate the ideal and faith on-site teaching activities into overall arrangement of the school's ideological and political education. The school encourages teachers and students to further promote spirit of patriotism, dedication, innovation and creativity.
2017 undergraduates Kang Bochun, Liu Shubo, Fu Chunjiang, Song Jinlai and other students took the lead in sharing experience. The profound experience of senior students has benefited the undergraduates of 2018 a lot. Senior students actively expressed their own opinions and experiences. They said they realized the hardships and difficulties of the revolution and had a deeper understanding on faith and ideals. Yan'an spirit is a national spirit deeply rooted in the blood of the Chinese nation, which is worthy of learning and following. In the future study, we should be practical and realistic, bear in mind the spirit of hard work and put it into practice, grow into qualified builders and reliable successors for cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
This on-site teaching activity, further strengthening the ideals and beliefs of teachers and students of the whole school, is an important measure for QMES to implement fundamental tasks of emphasizing moral education and cultivating people. The teachers and students of QMES will consciously carry forward the spirit of patriotism in the new era, remembering the mission, courageously undertaking the responsibility of national rejuvenation, to achieve the goal of two hundred years and to contribute all of the wisdom and strength to the Chinese dream.
