QMES successfully held the open day event in 5^thMeeting Room, International Conference centre on June 25^th, 2018. Colin Bailey, President and Principal of QMUL, Vice Presidents Colin Grant and Wen Wang, Andy Bushby, Executive Vice Dean of QMES, and Fan Xiaoli, Chen Jun, Vice Deans of QMES, Gabriel Cavalli, Director of International Centre for Teaching and Learning, NPU joined the event.

The event drew attention from students and parents who came from different provinces of China. Prof. Colin Bailey, Principal and President of QMUL illustrated the important value of QMES in international high education trend from both teaching and scientific research cooperation. Andy Bushby showed the features of the school by using a series of pictures. At last, Chen Jun explained the 2018 recruitment policies and encouraged students to join QMES.

Colin Bailey and QMUL delegation went to the outfield of the Open Day and had a cordial talk with the consulting students and parents by explaining the school’s operation mechanism, resource allocation, student development and some other issues.

The open day event further demonstrated the advantages and charm of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running a school to students and parents. It has an important and positive significance in promoting the enrolment of QMES in 2018 and enhancing the school’s social influence.
