On November 15, 2019, the freshman welcome party for new students hosted byQMES, organized by QMESStudentUnion, was held in the Aoxiang student center. Shi xuetao,Dean ofPolymerMaterials andEngineeringDepartment, Chen Chen,Director ofStudentAffairsOffice, Chen Qingyuan and Wang Changwei, the instructors of 2019cohort, Wang Ruixuan, the staff member ofStudentAffairsOffice, Xiao Manyu,Associate Professor ofLinear Algebra, foreign teachers Faith Nightingale, Agne Kocnevaite, Alan Allman, Colin Crick and Luqman Ahmed attended the party.

The dreamy aura of the party was revealed at the admissions desk. The huge poster in front of Aoxiang student center, the spreading lights on the stairs in the evening and the colorful balloon arch made us feel as if we really entered the palace of youth.

After receiving the glow sticks and leaving their names on the signature board, each student blended into the aura of the party.

The party began with loud cheers.

Li Ziyi, Lin Chunyi and other students brought "Gutta Back" – the performance that opened the show.

"Remember" was brought by “Jiu Xianyin” team which improved everyone’s already excellent mood.

"Horse Racing" and "Good Night" brought by Yang Bening and other students showed the positive outlook of young students.

Liao Yanshan and Zhang Lin's dance "As if it's your last" brought the audience to their feet.

Li Yueting, Zhao Jiazheng who performed crosstalk "Dream of The Western Expedition" brought audiences endless laughter.

Later, Fu Wendi brought dance “Clothes of Han and Tang Dynasties”, which inherited traditional culture and carried forward modern aesthetics. After that, the T - stage situation followed by “Jiu Xianyin” team was extremely cool.

The sing “Say goodbye” by Zhang Yixuan pulled the audiences back to the real world ---The friendship is forever!

"No Joke" brought by “Jiu Xianyin” team was full of endless passion and vitality, which pushed the aura to the limit.

Luo Zhangliang brought "Someone like you" and “Zhui” to show the teenagers on the road to pursue their dreams.

The classical dance "Leading Silk Drama", which was brought together by the Chinese Culture team and “Jiu Xianyin” team, showcased the colorful Chinese culture.

In addition to the beautiful program, there were also rich and interesting activities in the evening. From the online interaction on the screen projection on the wall to the offline imitation of challenging flexibility, from the youthful students to the mature teachers, everyone was trying to challenge themselves. Audiences cheered for the wonderful performance of teachers and students, applauded the lucky winners in the lottery, and integrated every bit of the party into their memories.

In the end, the band song by Sun Yuchen, Liao Linqing, and other students led the students to recall their past time. Please always remain brave and strong, and we will always be dream pursuers!
