In the summer of 2019, with strong support of NPU, QMES has carefully organized. nearly 200 students to study in and visit world-class universities. It makes new contributions to building an international academic development network.

In July, led by Vice Dean Prof. Fan Xiaoli, 10 students completed their 14 days’ Australian visit. It provided a chance for students to closely experience Australian culture, learn frontier knowledge and promote bilateral communication and cooperation between the two universities.

On July 28^th, led by Counselor Xu Ruirui, the aerospace material engineering summer school started in McGill University. After a 14-hour long flight, QMES students successfully arrived in Montreal, Canada and were ready to enjoy their first academic journey in Canada.

From August 3 to 19, led by Chen Jun, Vice Dean of QMES, and Chen Chen, Director of the Office of Student Affairs, 115 students from QMES went to their alma mater, Queen Mary University of London, for summer study and practice. They have truly experienced the rich academic atmosphere and campus culture of QMUL, and to investigate the social development and customs of London.
