To further implement the guiding principles of the NPU’s 14th Party Congress and enhance staffs professional competence, the QMES and the School of Computer Science jointly organized a official document writing skill on the morning of 12 June in Meeting Room 105 of the School of Computer Science, The training was delivered by Chen Congjun, Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office, Party and Administration Office, NPU, and was chaired by Cheng Yin, Deputy Secretary of the QMES Party Committee. Staff members from both schools attended the training.

During the training, Chen Congjun drew on his extensive professional experience to deliver a comprehensive presentation. He began by outlining the complete process of official document handling, starting from the definition and classification of documents and offering a clear explanation of the characteristics and appropriate contexts of each type. Particular emphasis was placed on the “Eight-Step Method for Document Review”, which he systematically unpacked to establish a structured framework for writing and reviewing official documents. Referring to the university’s day-to-day administrative practice, he focused on frequently used document types—such as notices, reports, requests, and official letters—and provided detailed guidance on writing conventions, formatting requirements, and key points of attention. To make the training more effective, he selected representative examples of official documents and used comparative analysis to help participants clearly grasp writing techniques and strengthen their understanding and application of theoretical knowledge.
The joint training has provided a platform for professional exchange between the two schools and represents a key step toward strengthening internal management and improving work efficienc. Moving forward, QMES will continue to align with NPU’s “127” Development goals and long-term vision of “A World-Class University, A Global Leader in Aeronautics, Astronautics, and Marine Engineering”, leveraging the QMES Administrative Training Workshop to further refine its regular training mechanism, enhance staff professional competence and contribute to the high-quality development of NPU in all areas.
