On the afternoon of 28 May, QMES held an Appointment Ceremony for “Silver-Haired Speakers” and a Lecture and Exchange Session at the Chang’an Campus.

At the meeting, Fan Xiaoli read out the biography of Professor Yu Suihuai, who had been appointed as a “Silver-Haired Speaker”.

Ma Jun then presented Professor Yu with the official letter of appointment.

Following the appointment ceremony, Professor Yu delivered a keynote presentation entitled The Exploitation of the Works of Nature: Exploring the Beauty of Chinese Craftsmanship and Creation.

During the session, faculty members and students engaged actively in discussions with the speaker, creating a lively atmosphere of interaction and exchange.

Building on this appointment, QMES will continue to draw on the expertise and experience of the “Five Senior Generations” (retired officials, veterans, experts, teachers and role models) to further strengthen the development of its caring centre for the “Five Senior Generations”.
