On the afternoon of June 2, Zhang Xiaochun, Deputy Director of theUndergraduate Student AffairsDepartmentof Xi’an University of Technology, and his delegation of five people visited QMES to investigate the preliminary preparation, enrollment work, student management and other related fields of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.

Cheng Yin gave a comprehensive introduction to the establishment background, teaching operation, enrollment work, student affairs, and other work of QMES.Chen Chen supplemented the work of students’ ideological and political education, youth league branch and students’ party construction.Qi Yue made a further introduction on student registration, teaching arrangement and the service and management of foreign teachers. Zhang Xiaochun introduced the application and establishment of the International Engineering College (IEC) of Xi’an University of Technology. Both sides exchanged views on discipline setting and professional characteristics of IEC.

During this meeting, the two sides focused on curriculum construction and academic management. They hoped to strengthen cooperation in the future and to make continuous progress in the field of cultivating international and compound innovative talents.
