During the meeting, she emphasized the "learning-centered" talent cultivation model of the school - that is, the core of the school is to enhance the "learning ability", the teaching focuses on teacher-student communication, interaction and internal motivation inspiration, to create a teaching community with diversified teaching methods and multi-dimensional assessment mode, to absorb and integrate advanced teaching concepts from China and overseas, and to maximize the advantages of the new era of joint education institutions, as well as to help students become successful and develop their self-learning and lifelong learning skills. As a proverb says, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." This coincides with the NPU’s goal of "strengthening the interaction between teachers and students, and cultivating talents with independent and rational thinking skills, as well as critical and innovative thinking".

They would take the challenges as opportunities to actively adjust their study status and clarify their personal development goals. Subsequently, Fan Xiaoli and the staff also gave specific responses to the questions and suggestions raised by students, saying that both NPU and QMUL will provide a good learning platform for the students to the greatest extent possible and help them develop in all aspects.
