On the morning of April 13^th, Chi Miao, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, Tian Yuxin, Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Management Department, and Mao Jize, Associate Dean of the Undergraduate School, with other 8 people from Harbin Engineering University went to QMES to investigate the work of Sino-foreign cooperative education. Kong Jie, Dean of QMES, and Fan Xiaoli, Vice Dean met with the guests in the conference room and conducted in-depth discussions. Zhang Wentao, Executive Vice Dean of School of Foreign Studies, Gong Jian, Deputy Director of Teaching Affairs Department, Zhang Peng, Deputy Director of the Finance Department, Wang Geming, Deputy Director of Information Center of the School of Foreign Studies, and relevant staff of Office of International Cooperation attended the meeting.

On behalf of QMES, Kong Jie first extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Harbin Engineering University, and briefly introduced the preparatory work, organization and party building work of QMES. Fan Xiaoli gave a detailed explanation on curriculum system, teaching resource allocation, scholarship setting, student management, etc., and introduced specific measures and highlights of QMES's preparation for undergraduate teaching review and evaluation. Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the preparatory work, educational administration, financial management, scientific research cooperation of Sino-foreign cooperative education in a relaxed atmosphere. Chi Miao, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Harbin Engineering University, said that as the first non-independent legal person Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school in the northwest region, QMESplayed a leading and exemplary role from preparation to operation. This visit would help Harbin Engineering University to explore new development models in the field of Sino-foreign cooperative education.

After the symposium, accompanied by Kong Jie and staff of QMES, Chi Miao and his team visited Internet Smart Classroom, Innovation Lab, Student Home, and Psychological Counseling Room of QMES.
