According to relevant requirements of NPU, the Party Branch of QMES held an Organization Life Meeting and Democratic Appraisal Party Meeting in meetingroom 413, East Teaching Building A on the morning of December 9. The meetings were hosted by Dean Kong Jie. Liu Wei, Deputy Party Secretary ofSchool of Materials Science and Engineeringattended the meeting on behalf of the supervision group. All Party members of QMES joined the meeting.

At the meeting, Dean Kong Jie reported Party Branch work in 2019 to all of the Branch members. He madeself-criticismand proposed the next development plans of QMES Party Branch. Then, the rest of the Party members conducted self-criticisms one by one and further analyzed the problems existed. All members elaborated their plans for improvement in 2020.

Deputy Party Secretary Liu Wei praised the work of QMES Party Branch and wished that the Party Branch would continue to work hard and make contributions to the construction of the "Double First-Class" of NPU.

At the end of the meeting, Kong Jie made a concluding speech and thanked Deputy Party Secretary Liu Wei for his appraisal and guidance. He said that through the meetings, all the Party members deeply understood their own shortcomings and would strive to overcome them in the future.
