To further clarify the work priorities of the QMES Youth League Committee and the Student Union for the new semester, and to effectively carry out various tasks, QMES held the QMES Youth League Committee and Student Union Work Conference for the Spring Semester of 2023-2024 Academic Year on March 1st. Huang Quanzhang, the Secretary of the Youth League Committee of QMES, Ma Xiaoxuan and Tong Miaomiao from the Student Affairs Office, and all student cadres of the QMES Youth League Committee and the Student Union attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Huang Quanzhang, the Secretary of the Youth League Committee of QMES.

During the meeting, Huang Quanzhang first summarized the achievements and identified issues in the previous semester’s work of the QMES Student Union and the Youth League Committee and then proceeded to arrange and deploy tasks for the new semester. He emphasized the necessity for all student cadres to adhere to systematic thinking, ensuring planning and subsequent evaluation to guarantee the steady progress of various tasks. Additionally, he urged student cadres to serve as exemplary leaders, actively participate in commendations and awards, and strengthen communication and exchange between departments. He further advocated for regular departmental meetings to address deficiencies and enhance the quality of work.

Ma Zhiheng, the Executive Chairman of the QMES Student Union, summarized the problems existing in the various tasks of the Student Union in the previous semester. At the same time, he clarified that the focus of the first phase of work in the new semester will be on preparing materials for the "May Fourth Awards" evaluation, preparing for the Student Representative Conference of QMES, advancing academic assistance, and planning high-quality activities. He demanded that each task be implemented by specific responsible persons, while departments should cooperate closely and play their respective roles.

Shi Lingzi, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee of QMES, summarized the various tasks of the QMES Youth League Committee from the previous semester and outlined the key directions for the new semester. She expressed that in the new semester, the QMES College Youth League Committee should further refine its meeting system to facilitate the orderly implementation of various tasks.

Finally, Tong Miaomiao and Ma Xiaoxuan provided additional insights into the recent focus of the QMES Youth League Committee and the Student Union’s work, calling on all student cadres to continuously strengthen their sense of purpose and responsibility in the new term, thereby collectively advancing the high-quality development of the QMES Youth League Committee and the Student Union’s work.

The convening of this meeting has set the direction for the work of the QMES College Youth League Committee and the Student Union this semester, mobilizing the cohesion and centripetal force of all members and laying a solid foundation for the future development of various tasks.
