On the morning of April 18, 2020, QMES successfully held the “Policy Presentation and Experience Sharing Meeting of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program of College Students” on “Cloud”. Fan Xiaoli and Chen Jun, Vice Dean of QMES, Huang Quanzhang, Student Affairs Office, Ding Jing, Teaching Office, and more than 100 students participated in the meeting.The meeting was presided over by Chen Jun.
First of all, Huang Quanzhang gave a detailed introduction to the objectives, program classification, scope of selection, application conditions and process, mid-term assessment and final defense of the program, as well as the use of funds other relevant policies and requirements of the program. Meanwhile, he focused on answering the feedback questions from students in the questionnaire of this program in the early stage. He also stressed that students should keep the mentality of exercising and challenging themselves, and take the ability of independent learning and innovation as the goal, so as to reflect the real value and significance of the program.
Later, He Mukun, Li Yunge, Liu Xinyu, Liu Yuxuan, Wang Tingyi and Xiao Zhuorei, six experienced students shared their valuable experiences and feelings during the process of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship training program for college students”
He Mukun gave a detailed introduction to the procedures and necessary conditions for participating in “innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students”.Li Yunge introduced the program application, final defense and some common problems in the process of implementation, and stressed the importance of time paying on experiments.Liu Xinyu introduced her experience and lessons learned in the program, especially emphasized the importance of reading more literature, planning experiments in detail and making test records.Liu Yuxuan focused on sharing his own experience in writing the program application, emphasized the problems that frequently appeared in students’ writing, and suggested that students should make schedule in the early stage. Wang Tingyi started from the program she was responsible for, stressed the importance of preparing for the program application in advance, and shared experience of PPT preparatory. Xiao Zhuorei divided the feedback questions into three categories, and answered them in detail according to his own experience. He suggested that students should learn how to use the software needed in the program in advance.
Finally, Fan Xiaoli summed up the sharing meeting and spoke highly of the valuable experience shared by six students.She pointed out that in the process of implementation, perseverance was essential and firm determination was the key to the success.At the same time, these experiences will bring positive impact on students’ future study and work, and become the precious wealth of students’ whole life.Students should use critical thinking in their learning process and implement programs rely on rigorous logic and questioning spirit. Only by mastering the ability of independent learning and knowledge transformation, real innovation can be achieved.
The two-hour experience sharing meeting was successfully ended in the positive interaction between the students. The students expressed that they had gained a lot from this meeting. They would certainly learn from the valuable experience and seize the time to do well in program application and defense.
