Huang Quanzhang provided a detailed explanation of the key aspects of the “QMES Class Tutor Management Regulations”, including the duties and responsibilities of class tutors, their appointment and management, as well as assessment and incentives. This further reinforces the tutors’ accountability and supports the high-quality development of the QMES’s talent cultivation.

Yang Ye discussed the relevant requirements for final examinations, including pre-exam considerations, regulations on misconduct and cheating, and the responsibilities of invigilators. He emphasised the importance of invigilators in maintaining examination integrity and urged all class tutors to guide students in developing a sense of academic integrity. Tutors were advised to encourage students to adhere to examination rules, prepare thoroughly, and avoid any complacency.

As class tutors, they should provide phased and diverse personalised guidance to support each student’s growth and success.

Wang Yongxin then stated that teaching management is a crucial aspect of student affairs. He encouraged all class tutors to help new students adapt to various teaching methods upon enrolment and to assist them in planning their academic journey throughout the university. Additionally, he highlighted that class tutors should play an active role in students’ ideological education and academic guidance, helping them to develop a correct outlook on life, values, and the world.

Finally, Fan Xiaoli delivered the closing remarks. She noted that class tutors are pioneers in character development in higher education, guiding and leading students toward healthy growth, and are a crucial support for the QMES’s goal of cultivating international innovative talents.
