The recent promotions of multiple QMUL academics are not only a reflection of QMES’s commitment to a “first-class culture and the pursuit of excellence” but also full recognition by QMUL of how QMES’s international educational practice supports professional growth.
The open and inclusive academic ecosystem at QMES, supported by its world-class resource network, offers continuous momentum and comprehensive support for teacher development. In recent years, ten QMUL academics have achieved consecutive promotions, demonstrating the success of QMES’s strategy of “integration, progression, and empowerment” for its staff, as well as the determined and ambitious spirit of its teaching community.
As professional accomplishments continue to grow, so does the passion and creativity of the faculty. Among them, English language teachers Faith Nightingale and Agne Kocnevaite have reshaped the approach to intercultural communication education through pedagogical innovation. By implementing key educational concepts and advanced teaching methods, they have significantly enhanced students’ global competence. With support from QMES, their ongoing professional development has turned expertise and passion into tangible educational outcomes, establishing them as leading examples in language education at QMES.
