On March 28th, the QMES Union organised a unique cultural excursion to the Qin and Han Galleries at the Shaanxi History Museum. The event was led by Dai Fuping, Secretary of the QMES Party Committee, and 40 faculty members and students participated.

Under the expert guidance of the museum’s professional tour guides, the faculty and students moved through the various exhibition halls in an orderly manner. The tour guides’ clear and accessible explanations provided a deep insight into the remarkable achievements of the Qin and Han periods in areas such as governance, economy, and the arts. The participants were able to profoundly appreciate the boundless wisdom of the ancients. From the well-established political system to the advanced economic models, from exquisite artistic craftsmanship to the rich cultural heritage, each aspect showcased the long history and splendid civilisation of the Chinese nation.

This event not only reinforced the faculty and students’ confidence in Chinese culture but also inspired them to spread this cultural confidence across the world. As members of QMES, they expressed their determination to seize this opportunity and actively contribute to the “127 Goal” of NPU’s development. Drawing upon the wisdom of the ancients, they aim to transform it into a driving force for progress. They are committed to making strides in teaching, student development, management, and other areas, contributing their wisdom and strength to the growth of NPU, and assisting the university in achieving its higher development goals.
