On the afternoon of 15 October, Chen Jianjun, Executive Vice Chair of the NPU Labour Union, led a six-member delegation to QMES for a focused research visit. The delegation was received by Dai Fuping, Secretary of the QMES Party Committee, Wu Ajing, Chair of the QMES Labour Union, and other representatives of the school.

During the meeting, Dai Fuping extended a warm welcome on behalf of QMES to the visiting delegation. Chen Jianjun emphasised that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen collaboration between the NPU and QMES Labour Unions and to exchange views on operational practices and the development of the QMES Labour Union. Wu Ajing then presented a report on the progress in institutionalising and standardising the Faculty Congress, as well as on the planning and implementation of key initiatives. The two sides subsequently held in-depth discussions on labour union operations, the development of the Faculty Congress, and trends in faculty perspectives.

The visit provided new ideas and directions for the development of the QMES Labour Union. Under the guidance of the NPU Labour Union, QMES will continue to broaden its approaches, innovate its practices, and leverage the role of the branch labour union as a bridge with the university labour union, jointly forging a new path for labour union work.
