To strengthen cohesion and a sense of unity among first-year students, QMES held the Class of 2025 showcase event at the Nanshan Art Hall on 13 November. Cheng Yin, Deputy Secretary of the QMES Party Committee, Yang Fenping, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of QMES, counselors from each year group, and representatives from relevant offices reviewed each class’s development achievements and on-site presentations.
The event comprised two sections: a class development presentation and a showcase of class spirit. The programme was well structured and clearly themed. During the development presentation, class monitors provided a comprehensive overview of their respective classes and introduced the design features and cultural significance of their class emblems, flags, songs and mottos, reflecting a strong sense of shared identity.
The class spirit showcase section was warm and vibrant. Each class took to the stage in turn to present their collective spirit and distinctive class characteristics. Through singing, the students expressed their poetic sensibility, while their recitations conveyed a sense of cultural depth. Their lively dance steps reflected youthful energy and enthusiasm. These displays highlighted both the inclusiveness of each class and their shared commitment to unity and progress. From the full expression of individual talents to the deep cohesion of collective spirit, the Class of 2025 demonstrated their dedication to learning and their drive for unity, fully embodying the vitality of youth.

The event demonstrated the Class of 2025’s achievements in teamwork and collective development, providing a source of inspiration for their future learning and personal growth. Guided by the “Chief Engineer Education Culture”, QMES will steadily promote positive class and study practices and make concerted efforts to foster a rigorous and collaborative academic environment. It aims to guide students to cultivate character and advance their studies through practice, and grow into outstanding innovative talents with solid professional skills and a broad international perspective.
