On 11 June, Xu Jianjun, Chief Engineer for Platform Software at the AVIC Xi’an Flight Automatic Control Research Institute, delivered a lecture entitled “Realising Aspirations Through Dedication to Aviation” as part of the Ao’xiang Distinguished Experts Lecture Series.

At the beginning, Xiang Dan introduced Xu Jianjun’s professional background and career achievements.

Centred on the theme “Realising Aspirations Through Dedication to Aviation”, Xu Jianjun shared his insights drawn from both the development of China’s aviation industry and his own professional experience, highlighting the responsibilities and mission of youth in the new era.

During the discussion session, Xu Jianjun responded in detail to students’ questions on topics including the improvement of innovation capabilities at different stages and the enhancement of teamwork. He offered targeted guidance based on his practical experience.

Through the distinctive platform of the “Ao’xiang Distinguished Experts Lecture Series”, QMES continues to enrich its extracurricular education programme and invites distinguished alumni who hold chief engineering positions in the industry to provide values-based guidance for students.
