To further study and implement the guiding principles of the 2026 NPU Counsellors’ Representatives Symposium and strengthen collaborative efforts among student affairs staff in fostering student development, QMES recently held a seminar on the symposium’s guiding principles.

During the seminar, Cheng Yin led participants in a detailed study of the full text of Secretary Zhang Yunming’s Outline of Address at the NPU Counsellors’ Representatives Symposium.

Counsellors and other student affairs staff then shared their reflections on the seminar, drawing on their experience in daily student affairs management, ideological and political education, academic culture development, and safety and confidentiality.

Participants agreed that the seminar had further clarified the educational mission and professional responsibilities of student affairs staff in the new era, providing fresh momentum for strengthening the counsellor team supporting Chinese-foreign cooperative education programmes.
