To boost the morale of students taking part in military training and demonstrate QMES’s care and support for them, QMES leaders and student affairs staff visited the students in their halls of residence on the evening of 29 August. They met with members of the 2026 cohort undergoing military training, bringing them care packages from QMES and offering encouragement and support.

During the conversations, the staff also encouraged the students to make the most of military training as a valuable part of their university experience, using the challenging experience to build resilience and character while strengthening the bonds of friendship among their peers.

The visit left the new students taking part in the training feeling warmly supported and greatly encouraged.
