Orientation plays a key role in helping new students adjust to university life, clarify their goals, plan for their future and lay a solid foundation for their personal development. On 29 August, QMES held a series of orientation activities for the 2026 cohort.

Keeping the Spirit of NPU Alive, Inspiring Youthful Aspiration

QMES invited Professor Li Enpu, a senior lecturer from the Committee for the Care of the Next Generation, to deliver a special lecture entitled “Carry Forward Loyalty, Integrity, Courage, and Perseverance” to the new students.

Understanding the Education Plan, Charting Future Pathways

Wang Yongxin provided a detailed overview of the undergraduate education plan. He systematically introduced its educational objectives, programme structure and course offerings, helping new students and their parents gain a comprehensive understanding of QMES’s teaching and learning provision and academic development pathways.

Strengthening Anti-fraud Awareness, Promoting a Safer Campus

QMES invited Officer Lv Xin from the Beilin Branch of the Xi’an Public Security Bureau to deliver a special safety education session on recognising and preventing fraud.

Managing Stress, Embracing Personal Growth

Zhao Yuan, QMES’s mental health education specialist, delivered a special lecture on mental health.

A new chapter begins, and the time is now to pursue their aspirations. QMES will use this orientation programme as an opportunity to continue providing a range of thematic educational activities and further promote fine academic conduct.
