Recently, QMES held a series of psychological education to help students build their self-esteem, cultivate rationality and keep a positive attitude, which not only will strengthen the mental health education, improve the effectiveness of psychological education, but also can enhance students’ mental health awareness. These activities have achieved positive effects.
On June 6, QMES held a psychological education activity themed “Sunshine Escort in a Cool Summer” at Xingtianyuan Sports Ground of Chang’an Campus. Gao Min, Deputy Party Secretary of School of Foreign Studies, delivered a psychological lecture named “What Color is Your Mood?” in the Lecture Hall of QMES. and which is presided over by Cheng Yin, Vice Dean of QMES. Meanwhile, the psychological committee members of all grades and student representatives of grade 2020 attended this lecture.
It is always the No. 1 choice to play water in hot summer for students. During the psychological education activity of “Sunshine Escort in a Cool Summer”, many students involved in competitions in different ways, such as team-participation and individual competitions. They sweated in the playground and regained happiness in their childhood with water guns.
The psychological lecture ----“What Color is Your Mood?”
In the psychological lecture “What Color is Your Mood?”, Ms. Gao Min started her topic from the relationship between the expression and recognition of emotions and the colors, and specifically elaborates on the issues such as “Specific Correspondence between Several Colors and Several Emotions”.All the students actively interacted with Ms. Gao, put forward their own views and exchanged their ideas with each other.
This lecture has effectively helped the students adjust their mental state, recognize their maladaptive psychology and negative emotions in a timely and correct manner, and get rid of the misunderstandings caused by psychological problems.At the same time, the students have also learned the correct way to solve the problems in their life and study through this lecture.
