On the morning of September 23, 2020, Wang Hainian, Party Secretary and Dean of Chang’an Dublin International College of Transportation at Chang’an University, and his colleagues came to QMES for investigation.Kong Jie, Dean of QMES, and Cheng Yin, Vice Dean of QMES, met the guests in 413 Meeting Room.
Dean Kong Jie firsty extended a warm welcome to Dean Wang Hainian and his party.Then, Chen Chen, Director of Student Affairs Office, gave a brief introduction on the establishment background, educational philosophy, student work, management system, enrollment, etc. of QMES. Dean Kong Jie made supplementary comments.Vice Dean Yao Yiliang introduced the establishment background, majors and development status of Chang’an Dublin International College of Transportation.
Subsequently, the two sides discussed management experience, teaching work, faculty development and problems encountered in the operation of QMES as well as performance appraisal of teaching staff, activities of students and English learning atmosphere.Wang Hainian said that QMES has formed a perfect management mode and a unique talent training system. There were many things forChang’an Dublin International College of Transportation to learn from QMES.
After the meeting, accompanied by the staff of QMES, Wang Hainian and his party visited the One-stop Office Platform, Internet Smart Classroom, Full-English Innovation Laboratory of QMES. The delegation also enjoyed the office layout and decoration style of QMES.
It is known that, approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2020, Chang’an Dublin International College of Transportation is a Sino-foreign cooperative school with non-independent legal person jointly organized by Chang’an University and University College Dublin in Ireland. It is established on the basis of Road Bridge and River Crossing Project (Sino-foreign cooperation) by the two universities.
