On the afternoon of June 30th, QMES held the graduation ceremony and the NPU degree awarding ceremony for 2022 graduates at Chang’an Campus. Fan Xiaoli, Dean of QMES; Dai Fuping, Secretary of QMES Party Committee; Cheng Yin, Deputy Secretary of QMES Party Committee and Vice Dean of QMES; Zhuo Sifei, Counselor for Class 2018; and all the staff members of QMES and parents representatives attended the graduation ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Dai Fuping.

On behalf of QMES, Fan Xiaoli extended her sincere congratulations and best wishes to the students who successfully completed their undergraduate studies. She said that four years ago, students came to NPU with ambition and have studied hard to explore new fields. Now, the students have made great progress in their studies and contribute a lot to the development of the school. What the students had experienced at QMES would become a wonderful memory in their life. At the moment of parting, she put forward three expectations to the students: maintaining a sincere heart, developing a strong mind, and nurturing an inspiring spirit.

With the theme of “Transformation”, the exhibition of excellent graduation works saw 12 pieces of graduation works stood out after two rounds of online and offline voting. Hu Zhenghao and Liu Xinyue won the Special Prize of Excellent Graduation Design; the team led by Zhou Jinyang won the Outstanding Innovation Special Prize; Wang Yuxiang won the Special Prize of Excellent Scientific Research; Tu Aonan, Li Yanting, Yu Jieru and Li Yuchen won the First Prize of Excellent Graduation Design; the team of He Linyun, Zhao Xinyu and Liu Bingru won the First Prize of Outstanding Innovation; Huang Botao’s team won the First Prize of Excellent Scientific Research. Then, Fan Xiaoli and Cheng Yin awarded certificates to students, expressing full recognition of their achievements in studies.

Finally, Fan Xiaoli and Fuping Dai, on behalf of QMES, awarded degree certificates and performed the turning of the tassel for more than 200 graduates in turn.

Dai Fuping expressed that teaching was the most brilliant career whose mission was to help students realize their dreams. He hoped that students can pursue their dreams with courage. QMES would always remember and care about all the students after their graduation.

QMES sticks to the concept of talent training, focuses on the training mode of “Integration of Four Abilities”, and strives to cultivate more talents for the construction of socialist modernization in the new era.
